整体看下来题目大多是当前社会的热点和深层次矛盾，出题风格与往年大致相同。有紧跟时事的（川普和马斯克都有提到），也有讨论已久都包出浆了的，比如人权问题、经济不平等、法律公正等。
同时这些问题多数具有争议性，没有绝对答案，能激发不同观点的碰撞。所以大家在答题时，也要注意问题的局限性和潜在的偏见，鼓励全面和多角度的探讨。
John Locke论文竞赛简介
John Locke论文写作比赛因其学科范围广泛，选题深刻有趣，成为全世界最受欢迎和认可的中学生英文论文写作比赛之一。
竞赛共有七大学科主题，分别为哲学、政治、经济、历史、心理、神学和法律，每个主题设3道提问，针对14岁以下的学生还设有低龄组。参赛者需要在这些问题中任选其一，完成一篇不超过2000词的论文。
比赛首先在提交的作品中公布Shortlist入围名单，之后再从入围作品中依次评出Grand Prize、一二三等奖及High Commendation获得者。
值得一提的是，今年一等奖奖金由2000元加码至5000美元，二等奖和三等奖（原来仅有荣誉证书）也获得了相应的奖金，分别是2000美元和1000美元。同时，今年还增加了一次逾期机会，逾期提交机制为7天和21天期限。

注册截止：2025年5月31日
提交截止：2025年6月30日
逾期参赛截止时间：2025年7月7日或7月21日（逾期费用分别为25英镑和75英镑）

颁奖晚宴：2025年10月4日
