比赛内容

比赛共分为哲学、政治、经济、历史、心理、法律、神学七大方向，此外，针对14岁以下的学生还设有低龄组；低龄组提供6个题目，其他七大方向各提供3个题目。学生需要在选题公布后选择某个方向的某个题目进行论文撰写。

作为一项全球范围内的热门赛事，John Locke每年都会吸引大量的学生积极参与，从官方公布的数据来看，去年参赛人数达到了3w+，竞争十分激烈。

论文要求

文章本质属于argumentative essay议论文，注重考察学生以下几方面的能力：

1.能够对所选话题有深入的了解和研究

2.熟悉议论文写作格式和要求，包括基本的框架和流程

3.整体写作能力，包括语言表达、逻辑体系、语言风格、语法问题、规范格式等

每篇文章应仅解决所选主题类别中的一个问题，并且不得超过2000字（不包括图表、数据表、脚注、参考书目或作者声明）。

参赛资格

任何国家的学生都可以报名。按照2024赛季的要求，在提交截止日期，即2024年6月30日，候选人必须在18周岁及以下；低年级组参赛学生在提交截止日期必须在14周岁及以下。
