导师信息:
Dr Jun Jiang (JJ), the supervisor (2022 Imperial College President Award for Excellence in Research Supervision), (h-index 36, 103 publications; 3500 citations), is a distinguished Senior Lecturer at the Dept. of Mech. Eng., Imperial College London, and is emerging as a leading figure and rising star in solid welding. New Ideas: JJ devised an innovative Hybrid Solid-state Extrusion Roll Welding Additive Manufacturing (AM) Technology, addressing high-strength aluminium alloys' AM hot cracking issues. JJ also pioneered a groundbreaking Hybrid AM and Hot Forge Welding Technology to solve the issues in remanufacturing. New Tools: JJ established a pioneering In-situ Thermal Micromechanical Testing-Characterisation Modelling methodology by winning £380k EPSRC equipment funding in 2020.
Combined with JJ’s expertise in crystal plasticity finite element modelling, this novel methodology enabled the process-microstructure performance relationship to be established. New Knowledge: Studies on similar metal diffusion welding and dissimilar metal (Fe-Al) forge welding, provide valuable new scientific insights, as published in esteemed journals such as Acta Mater., Int. J. Mach. Tools Manuf. Recognitions: JJ's exceptional academic performance has been recognised through the Imperia College President's Medal for Outstanding Research Team (2022): and the Imperial College President's Award for Outstanding Early Career Researcher (2018). Furthermore, the proposed transformative solid welding technique won the 1st position of ~30 teams at the 2023 Fusion Manufacturing Challenges.

This innovative method has demonstrated exceptional results such as maintaining base metal properties with minimal deformation. Its advantages encompass high joint strength, precision, cost-effectiveness, scalability, and much more, earning its 1st place in the Fusion Manufacturing Challenges 2023 at TechConnect, Washington.

Idea candidates should be passionate, self-motivated, and meet the academic prerequisites for enrolment for the PhD degree at Imperial College London. Possession of a 1st class honours degree in Mechanical/Material Engineering, or a related field is essential. 徐贯东教授现担任香港教育大学人工智能讲座教授、数据科学与人工智能中心(UDSAI)主任及教学科技中心(LTTC)主任。其研究领域涵盖人工智能在教育的应用、社会计算、图学习、推荐系统、人工智能等。
近年来,徐教授在KDD、SIGIR、WebConf、NeurIPS、CVPR, IJCAI、AAAI、TKDE、TOIS、TNNLS等大数据分析及人工智能领域顶会顶刊发表学术论文超220篇,他目前担任Springer Nature下的Human-centric Intelligent Systems期刊 主编和World Wide Web 期刊副主编。
