Task one：The graph below shows the sale of five types of items in four different seasons in adepartmental store in the US in 2011. Summarise the information by selecting andreporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The bar chart demonstrates the sales of a store in USA in 2011, which compares the different figures of clothes, sports equipment, cosmetics and jewelery in four seasons.
Overall, It can be seen from the bar chart that women's clothes were the best sold items over the whole year. However, the other three items varied in different seasons.
As the chart shows, women's clothes had a sale of $40000 in winter and it rose gradually until it reached to almost $110000 by autumn.(注意：这个地方也可以按照时间推移去写，因为图表起始是冬天，按照四季顺序，后面依次是春天，夏天和秋天） The sales of men's clothes peaked at $40000 in summer, but in the other three seasons, the slaes in men's clothes was slugghish(疲软缓慢的), ranging from $20000 to $40000.
Spring and Autumn were the peak seasons (销售旺季）for sports equipment, with the figure reaching $40000 respectively. However in winter and summer, the sales performance was slightly poor, at about $2,300.
In winter and spring, jewellery was the least sold item, with the sales below $20000. The sales started to rise in the second half of the year (后半年）and reached a high of (a high of 高点） $50000 in Autumn. Likewise cosmetics, well-performed in autumn, it experienced a low (低点）of sales in spring, only $20000.
In terms of season, autumn got the maximum preference in buying items in comparison with all other seasons.However, with regards to individual item, women's clothes witnessed the highest among all winter. Task two: It is suggested that all the young adults should undertake a period of unpaid work helping in the community. Does it bring more benefits or drawbacks to the the community and young people.
支持的原因：
1. teenagers can learn a wide range of (一系列的） useful skills, which can be beneficial（对.....有好处） in their careers in future. The skill of presentation, communication, and socialization can be gained（获取） from volunteering work. For exmaple，being a tutor to teach primary school students improves teaching skills, curriculum design, and technique to keep children's attention, which cannot find in the classroom.
2. the graduated students can utilize the period to explore their talents, and favourite activities so that they can later decide to choose what programme they will learn in the university and their future work. As we know，many graduates know their favourite career from doing internships and unpaid task during unpaid workshop and voluntary activities.
不支持的原因：
One of disadvantages would be a lack of motivation. Many youngsters are forced to participate this kind of unpaid jobs instead of being self-motivated(而不是自驱）.
Given that, they cannot deeply understand the essence （真谛）of voluntary activities. From a long run, they may generate a sense of resentment（抵触，憎恨） to these activities and be reluctant to （拒绝）voluntary work in the future. Youth need to work full-time to have a prosperous future（有前途的未来） and be able to raise a family（养活家庭）; therefore, they are likely to not have enough time for unpaid work and if they are forced to do, they will face health problems, such as chronic fatigue（长期疲劳）.
