Individuals and nations are hardly ever capable of helping everyone simultaneously across the world. Perhaps more so if people continue to experience home-based stress. However, given that we live in a globalising culture, I genuinely think we have a moral obligation to help people in need whenever we can.

Admittedly, priority should be given to issues concerning one's own country. Even in a developed nation, income disparities across regions can result in pockets of poverty, rendering it impossible to eradicate poverty despite ongoing attempts. For those in developing nations , reducing poverty becomes even more challenging for individuals. In this scenario, the utmost priority should be placed on one's own community and nation in order to ensure that the people can live healthy lives and the nation can progress.

However, this does not suggest that people have nothing to gain by contributing to the public interest. When societies have formed infrastructure and a secure quality of living, helping others can elevate a person's self-esteem and sense of fulfilment. Being kind is also one way to contribute to the advancement of the global community. On the one hand, certain nations have an abundance of resources, while resources may be rare in other nations, driving the residents of those nations to engage in trade in order to acquire the necessary products. Collaboration and interaction will ultimately lead to a resolution of the challenges being experienced by both parties. On the other hand, helping individuals in need promotes international ties, enhances the prestige of those who provide assistance, and wins a nation a reputation for being responsible and trustworthy.

In conclusion, I am of the opinion that individuals and nations alike share a responsibility to assist those who are in need and to work toward a common future for all people throughout the world.
