Nowadays, more and more people are willing to spend money and time on educational qualifications such as a master degree or even a doctoral degree. To my mind, however, educational qualification is at most a necessary condition, rather than a sufficient one, for success in our life.
Needless to say, educational qualifications may mean a lot to our success in life. In the first place, they are always required in order for us to find our dream jobs. A university teaching position, for instance, requires the candidates to have obtained their doctoral degree, without which there would be no interview no matter how suitable they may be for the position. Besides, educational qualifications also mean that the owners have had the expertise and the ability to work out problems in a specialized field. All these are essential if we want to succeed in life.
