About BioBattle
Biology Battle美国生物碗竞赛是一项向全世界高中生开放的国际竞赛。竞赛由个人赛和团队赛组成，将测试参赛者对生物学主题的知识，包括细胞生物学、遗传学、进化、植物、动物、动物行为学和生态学。比赛形式包括个人选择题考试和团队生物竞赛（2-4人）。表现最好的个人和团队将得到表彰和奖励。生物学竞赛不仅可以检验学生对生物学知识的理解，同时也是一个让学生享受团队合作乐趣的好机会!
Biology Battle is an international competition open to all high schoolers worldwide aiming to bring together the best minds for an individual and team contest. Bio Battle tests competitors’ knowledge of topics in biology, including cell biology, genetics, evolution, plants, animals, ethology, and ecology. The competition will include an individual multiple-choice exam and a team Biology Bowl (2-4 members per team). The top-performing individuals and teams will be recognized and awarded. Biology Battle will not only test your biology knowledge but will also be a chance for students to have fun working as a team!

Eligibility
- 全球所有高中生都有资格报名参加比赛
- 学生可以和来自不同学校的同学组队
- All high schoolers (or equivalent age groups worldwide) are eligible to participate.
- Members of a team do not need to attend the same school.
竞赛流程
Contest Structure
第一部分：个人比赛
- 分数将用于确定你的个人排名；团队平均分数将决定生物碗部分的队伍分配
- 排名前32的队伍（可能会有变化）将参加生物碗的比赛
第二部分：生物碗
- 两支队伍之间的科学碗比赛
- 任何规模的团队都可以相互竞争（例如，2人团队vs. 4人团队）
- 比赛的总体结构和规则与全美科学碗的标准类似
- 比赛和蜂鸣器系统在Zoom上举行
- 官方规则说明书将分发给已注册的学生
PART 1: Individual Competition
- Score will be used to determine your individual ranking; the average score of the team will determine seeding for the Biology Bowl portion of Bio Battle
- Top 32 teams (subject to change) will compete in the Biology Bowl
PART 2: Biology Bowl
- Science bowl-styled game between two teams
- Teams of any size may compete against each other (i.e. 2-person-team vs. 4-person team)
- Overall structure and rules will be similar to the National Science Bowl guidelines
- Competition and buzzer system held over Zoom
- Official rules sheet will be distributed to registered students

Scores from the pre-test are used to rank individual competitors.

Top 5 Gold Medalists will each earn $20 cash prize, Top 10 Gold Medalists will earn $10 cash prize
Team Prizes
Winning teams from the single-elimination biology bowl will determine the top teams.

Fourth Place Team: $40
Quarterfinalist Teams will be recognized
